Design & Installation

As the A/V industry evolves and the needs of our clients change, Headlight has broadened its services to include the turnkey design and installation of audio visual systems, from inception to training.

It all starts with your need to add video and/or audio services for your company, school or facility. You call our Sales department and one of our reps will work with you taking what you want to do and putting it on paper in the form of a proposal.

Our reps are not just your typical sales reps: They are designers who will work closely with Chris Roma, manager of our Installations Department, to come up with 1) a completely functional system and 2) a design at the most cost effective level we can, working within your budget guidelines, of course.

A proposal is then presented to you showing you exactly what you will be given, our warranty information and the dollar amount you can expect to spend.

Once you accept our proposal, the job then finds its home in the Installations Department and your equipment is ordered.

For more complex and involved installation jobs, Chris, either himself or one of his technicians, will visit the job site with you (or the person overseeing the job) to assess the particulars of where all the equipment will be physically located.

Our reviewer will then return to the shop where we put the final touches on the design specifics and work with you to schedule the job.

Every Project is Unique

Your desire to add a Crestron component rather than a competitor's is unique to you. You want to stay with Polycom because you like their products. Or you're undecided on switchers, so you go with our recommendation of using Extron.

Bottom line: You get the components that have a great track record and are right for the job.

We also will not design your system so that it has the cheapest equipment. Sure, you want to do it for as little money as possible, but what you don't want is a system that is antiquated the moment it is up and running. Or have one that is limiting in any way.

We specify equipment that is proven to work in the industry. We use name-brand equipment (like Extron, Crestron, Biamp, Crown, Kramer, Shure and many others) so when we turn the system over to you, you can rest assured that it will work 100% of the time. That your company gets what it wanted and not some system that goes down when you turn on the switch.

If the people you serve are happy, then you're going to be happy.
